Rochester Christmas Market

Join us for a magical festive day out to the historic city of Rochester, home to one of the UK's most popular Christmas markets.

Set within the beautiful grounds of Rochester Castle, the Rochester Christmas Market provides a truly enchanting Christmas experience. With the magnificent Norman castle as its backdrop, the market features over 120 festive stalls offering unique gifts, artisan crafts, locally produced goods, clothing, homeware, and delicious seasonal treats.

The market is renowned for showcasing products that cannot be found on the High Street, making it the perfect place to find special Christmas presents.

Visitors can browse the many stalls, enjoy festive food and drink in the traditional Bavarian Village, watch live entertainment on the bandstand, and soak up the wonderful Christmas atmosphere. A family funfair also adds to the festive excitement.

Our visit also coincides with the famous Rochester Dickensian Christmas Festival, when the historic streets of Rochester are transformed into a Victorian Christmas wonderland. Expect to see costumed Dickens characters, traditional carol singers, bell ringers, colourful parades, street theatre performances, and festive entertainment throughout the town. The festival celebrates Rochester's connection with Charles Dickens and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
