Come with us and experience the world of Mamma Mia The Party in London , set at the iconic O2. This immersive dining and theatre experience brings the magic of Greece right to the heart of the capital.
Upon arrival, there is a quick and smooth security check before you pass a complimentary cloakroom for coats and small bags (please note larger bags are not permitted).
As you enter, youll be given your table number and shown to your seat inside the beautifully themed venue. The room is kept at a warm 25 degrees, instantly making you feel like youve stepped into a Greek holiday setting. Youre welcomed with a delicious Prosecco and elderflower cocktail (with a non-alcoholic option available), a lovely touch to start the experience.
To begin, a selection of breads and dips are served, including a standout red pepper hummus and olives, alongside a fresh Greek salad packed with feta cheese.
Then the fun begins
The show bursts into life with a lively storyline centred around a chef who has set the kitchen on fire, followed by a fantastic mix of popular Mamma Mia songs from both films. No matter where youre seated, theres always something happening, and the talented cast make sure the whole room feels involved and part of the experience.
After plenty of singing and dancing, dinner is served as part of the show. The meal arrives as a sharing platter featuring tender lamb, slow-cooked beef stew, baby roast potatoes, and a selection of Greek-inspired vegetables including peppers, courgettes and feta.
The second half of the show returns with even more energy, building up to a spectacular performance centred around the beautiful fountain in the middle of the venue, with a very special surprise appearance you wont want to miss. At this point, you truly feel transported to sunny Greece.
Just when you think you couldnt eat another bite, dessert is served. Each guest can enjoy a selection of four mini desserts, including orange ravani cake, Greek yoghurt with cherry compote, lemon ouzo curd, cream-filled kokakia, and baklava (nut-free apricot filo parcel). The kokakia profiteroles and carrot cake were personal highlights and highly recommended.
The experience finishes with a lively finale, where everyone is up on their feet dancing and celebrating to the final songs on a stage built over the fountain. Its the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.
The full experience lasts around four hours and begins the moment you walk through the beautiful blue doors. Every detail has been carefully thought out, from the décor to the quirky posters around the venue, making it feel like youve stepped straight into the Mamma Mia films.
As someone who loves theatre trips in London, this is a standout experience that I would recommend time and time again. From the cast and service to the food and production, Mamma Mia The Party at the O2 London is truly something special and not to be missed.
