Thursford Through Our Customer’s Eyes: Jane’s Festive Experience

 

Thursford is in full swing this festive season, and we recently received some lovely photos from one of our regular travellers, Jane. We enjoyed them so much that we reached out to hear more about her day and her long history travelling with Galloway.

 

 

A Long-Time Galloway Traveller

 

Jane has been travelling with Galloway for many years, going right back to our Disneyland Paris holidays.

 

“We’ve used Galloway for so many years… we’ve never had a bad experience.”

 

Now in her early 60s, she prefers the ease of coach travel:

 

“It’s absolutely hassle-free. You sit down, someone else does the driving, and you’re dropped off exactly where you need to be.”

 

She follows us on Facebook , checks our website for new trips, and loves planning days out with her sister.

 

Jane’s Thursford Experience

 

This was Jane’s second time visiting Thursford Christmas Spectacular, and it lived up to expectations once again:

 

“The shows are always fantastic - absolutely brilliant.”

 

This year, she and her sister added the Winter Wonderland and Illuminated Trail to their day, enjoying a festive walk-through experience both indoors and outside. Even though the outdoor lights weren’t fully visible in daylight, she still found it magical.

 

 

What Makes Galloway Special to Jane

 

One thing that stood out was how much she values the drivers:

“We’ve never had a bad driver. They’ve always been very pleasant.”

 

By coincidence, she even had the same driver for both her ABBA Voyage trip and her Thursford visit:

“We joked with him - if you're really lucky, you might get us again for Titanic in January!”

 

Jane loves visiting interesting places, stately homes, museums, and enjoying days where everything is taken care of. She’s already planning to return to Thursford next year, this time bringing a friend who doesn’t drive.

 

 

Looking Ahead

 

Her next Galloway adventure will be The Legend of Titanic , something she’s always been fascinated by. And she hopes to see some favourites return to our programme in the future, such as The Shard After Dark, which she described as unforgettable.
