BBC Gardeners World at the NEC Birmingham

BBC Gardeners’ World Live – Birmingham (NEC)

A major annual gardening event held each June at the NEC in Birmingham, BBC Gardeners’ World Live is a four-day celebration of all things horticultural.

• It features show gardens, beautiful borders, and display areas, designed by top garden designers.

• The event includes a large Floral Marquee where visitors can buy plants, garden accessories, and tools. There are expert talks and advice sessions from well-known Gardeners’ World presenters like Nick Bailey, Monty Don, Frances Tophill, and others.

• Each year highlights a campaign or theme; for instance, in 2025 the headline garden focused on sustainability, under the “Make a Metre Matter” message.

• Special gardens can also tell powerful stories — for example, a Medicinal Garden designed in 2025 to reflect healing and emotional recovery.

• The show attracts tens of thousands of visitors (around 90,000 in recent years), making it one of the UK’s biggest gardening consumer events.
