Day 1
Travel north to our hotel where tea/coffee and hot cross buns are served on arrival.
Day 2
Our day begins with a ride out to the coast to visit Tynemouth and Whitley Bay. The afternoon takes us back to Newcastle with time to explore. In the centre Roman, Medieval, Jacobean, Georgian and Victorian building styles sit comfortably alongside colourful Chinatown and the Eldon Square complex. It is a happy jumble which gives the city a true cosmopolitan air.
Day 3
This morning we have a leisurely breakfast and visit Newcastle's famous Sunday Quayside Market, just along from the hotel. In the afternoon we join the boat at the quayside for a fabulous cruise on the River Tyne, with expert commentary.
Day 4
We depart after breakfast for our journey home.
